Job Description: UPS Service Technician

Position Overview:

As a UPS Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems, chargers, inverters, and related power electronics equipment. This role requires a strong technical background in electrical/electronics systems and the ability to interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of UPS systems, chargers, inverters, and associated equipment.
  
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting of UPS systems and related components, ensuring minimal downtime.
  
• Interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to diagnose effectively and resolve technical issues.
  
• Coordinate with service manager to prioritize and manage repair tasks, ensuring timely completion.
  
• Monitor pending repairs and follow up to ensure they are addressed within the committed timeframe.
  
• Prepare and submit daily reports to the service manager, detailing completed tasks, ongoing projects, and any issues encountered.
  
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance and repair activities.
  
• Provide technical support and assistance to other team members as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• ITI (Industrial Training Institute) or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
  
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the UPS or Power Electronics industry.
  
• Proficiency in handling UPS systems, battery chargers, telecom rectifiers, battery systems, and automatic power factor correction panels.
  
• Strong understanding of electrical/electronic principles and components.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.

• Salary range: 2,000.00 to 3,000.00 Saudi Riyals per month (Based on experience).
