Wholesale- BSS

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To build and manage wholesale system that enables telecommunications wholesale services and products, focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining the system that enhance operational efficiency, ensure service quality, and facilitate scalability within the wholesale environment.
  
• Design, develop, and maintain wholesale system to the specific needs of wholesale and carrier services which can include billing platforms, routing and provisioning systems, inventory management, and more.
  
• Ensure that various systems within the wholesale ecosystem can seamlessly integrate with each other. This includes integrating with partner systems and third-party applications.
  
• Responsible for managing large volumes of data related to wholesale services, such as call records, billing information, routing data, and customer data.
  
• Implement automation scripts and processes to streamline wholesale operations, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency
  
• Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of wholesale system to ensure that meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets.
  
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for wholesale system, including system architecture, codebase, APIs, and data structures.
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, operations teams, and business analysts, to understand requirements and design/develop solutions that align with business goals including the testing of developed solution.
  
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends. Propose and implement improvements to wholesale system to keep it competitive and efficient.
  
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for wholesale system, including troubleshooting issues, applying updates, and ensuring system availability.
  
• Oversee the end-to-end release management process, ensuring seamless coordination, testing, and deployment of software updates and enhancements
  
• Lead the production deployment of new enhancement, implementing rigorous testing and change management processes to maintain system reliability.
  
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to empower team members with critical insights and skills for efficient system development and maintenance.
  
• Deliver clear and insightful presentations to stakeholders, conveying technical information and project updates effectively.
  
• System Planning and budget forecast aligning with business objectives for optimal growth and innovation
  

Required Skills and qualifications:

• Batcheler/Master degree in Computer science or equivalent degree.
  
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or others commonly used in software development.
  
• Expertise in database design, SQL, and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  
• Understanding of telecommunications concepts, including voice and data services, routing, and network protocols.
  
• Understanding of network management principles, including network monitoring and configuration management.
