There is nothing called partial differential protection in Electrical Engg.

All the differential protection works in either of the two ways

a.Mercz price-Circulating current *Motor Generator,Transformer etc.

b.Voltage balance system.* Cable,Transley relays

by marwan yahya , Electrical engineer , ALMCO contracting with Italian oil company

this protection work when happend any diffrent betwen tha phases in voltage
