Water transport is easy,cheap and available throughout the world.So it is best way for product marketing.I think the land transport is in2nd position.Air transport is costful and less available and it used for emegency and valuable products marketing.
Mr. Hoque this depend on the nature of the products and urgency, we being a pharmaceutical organization used to transport the products via distributor and this is being done through land, though we are exporting goods to CIS, Srilanka, Philippines etc and their our transportation method is combination of land and water and sometime partially covered by railway.
With my previous employer, we used to do Air-transportation from south Asia to US market due to short shipment and this cost a huge amount on dollars. These all decisions are taken depending on the situation and product.
Water ways is best for marketing.Because3/4th area covered the world by water .Most country are reachable by water ways.Water ways are chief and easy and have no traffic jam.
I think air transport is good because it gets done faster than the other two modes when our primary requirement is time.
But for shorter distances and minimum money input strategy , land transport would do good.
Greater quantity of products will be good for rail mode of transport.
LAND is the BEST marketing place to any kind of products because where there are community living on earth. There are many end users around thw world who live on earth and they used it to establish for there own good.
