Either dot convention is a myth? or really we can mark it on designs?
We use dot convention in designing of the transformer.If dot is on the positive terminal of the primary coil the dot on the secondary terminal will denotes the poitive side of the secondary(if current entering in the first coil is marked positive the current leaving on the secondary terminal wil be marked positive)
