Technical Analysis is purely objective. It is algorithm based. Algorithms are not perfect and are often overridden in various situations.  This is not to say the Technical Analysis has no value and should be avoided.  Quite contrarily, it is a very valuable tool/skill to have and use.  It best and most effective if combined with Fundamentals and viewed as a 'sanity check'.

Technical analysis helps in timing of buying or selling of an financial product. It gives opportunity for investors when to enter or exit of particular trade. But, Fundamental analysis is also needed to judge the future of a product which has to be invested.

Technical Analysis is Best for taking final decision for International volume based products, such as Indices, Currencies, Commodities like, Gold, Oil Soybean Etc. Fundamental Analysis will give knowledge about products back ground and Demand and Supply for Agri and International commodities.  Overall Both Technical and Fundamental analysis would definitely helps while taking final trade decisions.

We should give a weight for both Technical and Fundamentals depending on the market circumstances
