Key Responsibilities:
- Create, manage, check and direct purchase orders and timely delivery to European distribution center and other distribution centers.
- Resolve claims concerning incorrect quantities of supplied goods and quality defects of goods including damage caused by transportation.
- Follow the flow of documents (invoices, delivery notes,...) and check them
- Follow and optimize stock levels and begin the process of ordering material in accordance with the internal planning system.
- Readjust priorities depending on customer needs and purchasing input.
- Support the culture of continuous improvements by PDCA – plan, do, check, act.
- Cooperation with warehouse and suppliers in order to correctly update and download ASN messages to our SAP system
- Represents ISC in the - LOB/SOS SIOP Process, working closely with Business Leadership / Sales, Marketing, Finance, Prod Man, Demand Planning / LOB/SOS NPI Process
- Has a total view of the LOB/SOS from an Inventory, Delivery and Quality Point of View
- Owns the Cycle Time Projects / Inventory projects / Improvement projects for OTFP/OTTR/PD
- Shares Best Practices between LOBs/SOS
- Weekly reporting.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors Or Masters Degree in Engineering, Logistics or Economics
- Min. 2 years as a purchaser
- Driving license
- PC skills (MS Office, SAP – big advantage), time management, visual management, 5 S
- English - advanced written and spoken
- Teamwork ability, time flexibility, communication, organizational and negotiation skills.
