Manager, Global Projects

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented engineer to join us as an “Global Projects Manager” with in Global PM Department. 

What will be your contributions:

• Tracks and monitors the overall project status for key projects 
• Ensures robust planning and risk mitigation on key projects
• Conducts high level executive (Steerco reviews) with stage gate meetings at appropriate times
• Ensures that the projects are meeting cost and schedule targets and following common processes and standards
• Interfaces with the Business Development organization during the early phases of the project
• Coordinates weekly reporting with key stakeholders and customers
• Engages proactively with stakeholders on the respective levels of their organizations to ensure alignment of expectations and continuous improvement of customer satisfaction
• Provides performance monitoring, information and reporting; helps diagnose root cause of problems and mitigate risks
• Ensures teams are taking corrective action as necessary to deliver complete scope, desired quality and timeliness of projects
• Creates and promotes a culture of collaboration, team-work and fun while delivering to or exceeding expectations

The Global Project Manager leads project activities related to internal key projects. Some of the projects within the area of responsibility are launching new production lines, new factories or global implementation projects across all TPI sites. 
Ensuring the project is delivered on schedule, following the PMP at TPI guidelines and procedures, within budget and cost are the key mission of Global PM. Projects are executed under a robust planning and risk mitigation. 
He/she will ensure common processes and standard implementation of metrics across key projects. Key stakeholders include Operational Managers, Business Development, Local Project Managers and Senior Executive Team at TPI.

What will be decisive:

• BA/BS in engineering related field of study
• Advanced degree preferred but not required
• 3+ years relevant Project Engineering, Process Engineering or Project Management experience
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools & techniques
• English speaking is a must
• Bias of action, ability to get things done
• Ability to deliver effective presentations to executive management
• Ability to creatively operationalize concepts and strategies that may be new and maturing in details and structure
• Ability to travel internationally up to 50% of the time
• Independent thinker and problem-solver; comfortable working in changing operational organizational environment
• Strong leadership, mentoring, organizational and communication skills
• Strong ability to collaborate with internal customers, senior leadership and project managers
