We are looking for a " Manager - Quality Assurance" for our company.
Job Description:
- Provide technical advice to merchandisers, factories and customers to ensure product quality to ensure products comply with European regulations and legislations.
- Liaise with suppliers and laboratories to ensure all relevant products are tested appropriately and keep abreast of the latest European legislation.
- Conduct factory audits to ensure that factories meet international/customer' compliance standards
- Check samples against product specifications to ensure that they meet customers’ quality standards
- Approve buying samples matching the specification, pre-production sample and production samples.
- Responsible to approve the artwork and label to European legal requirements
- Ensure appropriate product and supplier documentation is maintained and regularly reviewed for validity.
- Provide QA advice to factories before and during the manufacturing process
- Conduct in-line and final product inspections and provide advice and solutions on technical issues (e.g. construction of products/materials) considering the features and limitations of products and materials
- Ensuring finished products is to specification
- Communicating all quality issues arising from testing and assessment of product to all key stakeholders
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- 8+ years and above experiences in Quality Assurance field for Hardgoods (Especially in Hygiene and Personal Care Products)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher: Chemical Engineering related major is a plus
- Have formulation product knowledge in legislation regulation requirements, European testing requirement, factory evaluation, GMP, BRC audit
- Compliance knowledge to register the product in EU
- Have a strong knowledge in REACH registration, CLP, SDS and product evaluation
- Good English proficiency
- Work effectively in collaboration cross-functionally to achieve shared goals and deliver business objectives.
- Good project management skills with the ability to lead projects to completion, and provide hands-on support as appropriate.
- Ability to explain and present complex and / or technical issues clearly, accurately and simply.
