Marketing Activation Manager, Türkiye


We are currently looking for a Marketing Activation Manager for our Health and Medical Solutions business unit in Türkiye. This position will report to the Sr. Marketing Activation Manager, Türkiye, South Africa & ME, and will be based in Kartal, Istanbul office and working on a hybrid pattern which will be 3 days in the office and 2 days flexibility to work from home.


Main Accountabilities and responsibilities:


  • Formulate & executes marketing plans, in collaboration with BMs and the local commercial organization across brands and channels (BTB & BTC). With the fundamental review of Fewer, Bigger & Better.


  • Formulates local brand plans & executions strategies and presents to local & global stakeholders.


  • Manage A & P spend & activity, in collaboration with BM, ensuring KPI’s are met, and strategic plans are executed.


  • Manage Toolkit & Brand Corporate Identity in local market across all communication and execution assets (includes 4 eye & regulatory approval insight – and adaptation where required).


  • Provides channel, customers & market insights to the local commercial organization and BMs.


  • Drives in market data analysis and capturing including but not limited to: Nielsen, IQVIA , Single Source Data etc. This includes Internal data (Volume, NS, GP% full P & L oversight and knowledge).


  • Partners with sales for synchronization of sales and marketing activities and execution at customers and at point of purchase.


  • Is involved in strategic key account annual planning with Sales & Key Accounts to drive and optimize portfolio mix.


  • Manages FC and portfolio changes, including new launches.


  • Overseas and ensures GP%, volume mix & product mix is healthy and maintained.


  • Ensure brand knowledge and education is kept abreast both internal and external aligned with global guidance by leveraging and using various platforms i.e. EDVantage.


  • Works with external contact points & agencies to drive execution excellence in brand strategy across channels.


  • Works in field with sales & key account stakeholders to gain market insights – reporting it back to all stakeholders (min 2 days a month).


  • Drives KOL development & engagement.


You You are::


  • Must have a university degree or tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business Administration with commercial subjects;


  • 3-5 years' experience in Marketing in the same or similar role as in Health/Med Tech industry


  • Commercial and business acumen, be able to translate brand visions into effective strategies, propositions and plans that fulfill the vision and are financially viable;


  • Develop effective launch plans for innovation initiatives managing business requests and expectations;


  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to drive performance and processes forward;


  • Must be innovative, analytical, influential, insightful, courageous and decisive; 


  • Must be a self-leader, organized and collaborative in work across functional teams.


  • Must be fluent in English & Turkish
