Responsibilities

• Contributes to the development of innovative principles, ideas and practices
• Guidance in large, cross functional activities or projects that affect the organization’s long-term goals and objectives
• Guides multiple and the most complex projects requiring data, BI, software applications development
• Provide functional leadership on a regular basis on multiple projects, spanning different engineering disciplines within the organization
• Lead efficient data engineering implementations, using cloud and/or on-promise environments such as GCP, Azure,Amazon Web Services and/or Cloudera etc. deliver high quality technical work to demanding, diverse customers
• Work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including data engineers, analysts, business intelligence teams, software engineers, and product managers, to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Design and implement scalable data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and streaming platforms, to support the organization's data needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other relevant engineering field
• At least 13+ years of working experience in Cloud/Data Engineering capacity
• Good understanding of agile processes, able to handle ambiguity, data oriented decision making
• Technically Lead and guide the day-to-day work of the complex data and cloud engineering implementation projects
• Keep track of the latest industry trends and best practices
• Keep attention to detail and solution oriented mindset
• Great communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
