Your Main Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security solutions.
- Provide support regarding the infrastructure of security solutions
- Keep up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to security infrastructure
- Ensure security hardening of IT assets
- Ensure that daily operations are facilitated with automation
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to recommend best security practices and help identify gaps
Qualities We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Security Operations Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experienced in at least one private cloud provider (Vmware, Openstack, etc.)
- Experienced in both Linux and Windows system administration
- Experience with integrating and orchestrating security tools and technologies to create an integrated security ecosystem that provides comprehensive visibility and control over the infrastructure.
- Experienced with IaC tools for provisioning and managing infrastructure resources securely using code. (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Powershell, ) for automation and integration purposes.
- Knowledge of Microsoft AD services and features
- Familiarity with encryption algorithms, cryptographic protocols, authentication protocols and secure communication practices.
- Previously owned in designing, implementing, and maintaining security operations
- Experienced in one or more of SSL/TLS Management, Endpoint Security, Email Security, Deception Technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Good command of written and spoken English
