About the Job

• Design, build and maintain models and algorithms that align with feature requirements and constantly improve and refine accuracy.
• Use various data storage facilities to support data access patterns. 
• Design, develop and maintain APIs to expose data to planning, ordering and reporting systems 
• Provide development time estimates for the sake of sprints and be able to consistently deliver on-time, high-quality code. 
• Ensure the scalability and quality of all code 
• Use and promote software engineering standard methodologies across the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM
• 5+ years experience 
• Strong demonstrated skills implementing and deploying high volume and highly scalable services 
• Strong experience with programming and design (preferably Go and Python) 
• Experience in at least one major cloud platform and their managed services (GCP, AWS or Azure, GCP preferred)
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling and Object Relational Models
• Strong experience with - Test Driven Development

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations 
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives and describe product strategy, technical designs, and software product features 
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment 
• Experience with one or more Unit testing frameworks 
• Experience with XML, JSON, and/or YAML 
• Understanding of RESTful services
