Job Description

As the Software Architect, your primary responsibility will be to provide expert guidance on architectural decisions and technological implementations across all domains within the Lely Turkey Product Development. This role involves defining and communicating a cohesive technical vision to ensure that the system being developed aligns with its intended purpose. You will collaborate closely with teams to support the implementation of defined architectures, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices. Additionally, you'll play a key role in selecting appropriate technologies for products, considering both their suitability and compliance with company standards. In addressing engineering impediments beyond the scope of individual teams, you'll provide essential guidance and support. Your influence will extend to inspiring teams and chapters to adopt optimal engineering practices and embrace technical agility. Furthermore, you'll have the opportunity to showcase the architectural vision and new practices at PI Planning events, fostering alignment and shared understanding across teams. Finally, your involvement in recruitment processes will contribute to building a skilled and capable engineering team.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor in Computer Science/Engineering or similar
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English  
  • At least total of 10 years of experience as a backend and frontend application developer 
  • Experience with C# and .NET development 
  • Excellent knowledge of RESTful API Development
  • Experience working with RDBMS and NoSQL databases 
  • Working with version control systems (GitLab CI/CD or similar CI/CD tools)
  • Understanding of networking and security and a strong emphasis on secure coding practices and secure system design
  • Has worked in a microservices-oriented / modular monolith environment 
  • Knowledge about designing and engineering for cloud environments such as Azure and AWS, GCP
  • Experience with Azure and virtualization technologies
  • Experience in message services  like RabbitMQ and Azure ServiceBus
  • Experience with Unit Testing using available Testing frameworks in .NET environment
  • Experience in dealing with large legacy code bases
  • Demonstrate customer service focus in communications, decision-making, and actions in the Agile scrum software development process
  • Share experiences and feedback with others to build their skills
  • Open to feedback and adapts accordingly
  • Has a strong desire to learn, explore, and teach new technologies and mentors software developers
  • Proactively challenges the scrum team members to devise the best solution for the demands and administrates the actions for the agreed approach.
  • Has experience with working in multi-cultural agile teams.
