This individual should be a qualified Architect that is currently a Design Manager within another similar firm in UAE.
You should have a design background (schematic stage), understand and communicate knowledgeably about design, as well as have experience scheduling, minutes and produce reports to ensure projects are run on time and on budget.
You will be managing projects under a Project Director, taking part in the design process, leading internal resourcing and coordination between the internal design disciplines as well as multiple sub-consultants.
Requirements
12-15 years experience
Bachelors in Architecture - must!
Must have UAE or KSA experience at a minimum.
Must be able to use Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and MS Office.
Must have experience working on large scale projects, high-rise hotels
Experienced in managing a team of 5 people (Architects and draughtsmen)
Previously been involved in schematic design to construction documentation.
Involved with the review of QA/QC
Experienced in the coordination of projects and support to a Project Manager
Experienced in understand a projects BOQ (bill of quantities) and have previous experience keeping projects within budget
Recent knowledge of Municipality and Civil Defence Authority Regulations and submission procedures for KSA and UAE.
Coordination experience is a must within, interior design, MEP, Structural, Landscape, Facade, BMU, Vertical Transportation, Acoustics, Security, Commercial Kitchens, Waste management Systems and Vehicular Circulation
Benefits
30-35,000 AED, dependant on experience and relevance
