Job Description
  • Responsible for leading the Business Process Optimization, Automation and Digital CoE for the group. This role is pivotal in supporting the group CEO’s office to drive standardization, simplification, and automation across upstream and downstream processes of all the support functions across the group and its companies and ensure that relevant stakeholders are consulted and trained to operate process changes.
  • This role will ensure effective collaboration between teams in the operating companies and the centralized functions.
  • The role will also be responsible for driving the digitization in ways of working and reporting and bringing technological advancements to the group.
  • Define and steer Digital Strategy and Operational Excellence for the group in consultation with the CEO's office.
  • Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to document business requirements and create AS-IS Process Maps, as well as reporting framework and relevant data mapping.
  • Support the development of TO-BE processes, incorporating best practice principles and relevant process controls and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) documentation.
  • Work and manage external providers/consultants on helping the group in documenting the as-is processes, developing the to-be processes and the technology implementation as well.
  • Develop KPIs/Metrics for measuring the success of the process and devise ongoing evaluation strategies to monitor relevant upstream & downstream process performances and determine the need for improvements, where applicable.
  • Build strong working relationships with all stakeholders across group companies.
  • Project management of group-wide improvement projects in collaboration with key stakeholders across the group companies and group functions like IT.
  • Work with IT to ensure the successful delivery/implementation of Change Requests (CRs) and other key Transformation initiatives.
  • Engage and evaluate potential partners/vendors and manage relationships.
  • Drive digitization across multiple functions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information Technology from a recognised university.

Additional Information
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience in BPMN-based Process Modelling/Mapping tools, Oracle ERP.
  • Good functional knowledge of Data Analytics tools, Data modeling, data structures, and reporting & dashboarding.
  • Delivered large programs for process improvements/automation.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate, challenge, and influence in a constructive manner.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive and flexible attitude to work.
  • Good understanding of project and program management techniques and methods.
  • Proven experience in communicating and engaging at a senior level across multiple departments (including Legal, Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, IT).
  • Recent work experience in a multi-portfolio business house will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to compile, analyze and present data, findings, and progress in a concise manner.

Experience Requirements:


  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in a mid-large organization or as a consultant for transformation initiatives.
