Chief Accountant (CA/CPA)

Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the financial transactions are accurately recorded, duly authorized and reported in a timely fashion, and they often play an active role in helping to develop and implement controls.
Core Responsibilities:
Ensuring all transactions for the day are reviewed and posted on the same day in the system with accuracy. Preparation of financial statements (Cash Flow statements, Profit and Loss accounts and Balance sheet) monthly by 15th working day. Review supporting schedules for Balance sheet for their completeness and accuracy. Ensure monthly review of staff advance, Supplier and bank reconciliations. Providing high quality Management information that will act as key enabler for effective decision-making. Management information will essentially include:
- Vehicle wise profitability reports.
- Supplier wise profitability analysis.
- Pricing analysis.
- Budget Vs. Actual analysis with variances duly analyzed.
- Unit economics reports.
- MIS should contain Key Metrics, Ratios and performance of each.
Effectively handling ad-hoc internal and external queries and information requests. Maintain strong relationships with Auditors and stake holders. Ensure Year-end Audit is supported and completed timely. Ensure due internal controls are duly implemented.
Requirements:
Master’s Degree/ CPA /CA in Accounting/Finance, any additions qualification will be considered. Min 3-5 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting. Relevant experience in audit and costing is advantageous. Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels. Expertise working with Microsoft Dynamics and financial statements. Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel. Able to work independently and highly meticulous.
