Civil Engineer

The candidate for this position will be working from the Employer side and should be English and Russian fluent. He will provide project management for the middle-rise building project. As part of this role, the project manager will have to oversee the works of the Engineer (Consultant) and Contractor, interacting with authorities and other project stakeholders, acting as the point of contact to handle any issues regarding the project.

• Manage, coordinate and supervise construction project from development to completion on Client (Developer) side
• Possess knowledge of site development and construction techniques, permitting, and inspections.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of applicable building code standards.
• Development of Tender documentation with the Engineer 
• Knowledge of construction contracts forms and development of Project Contract Agreement and Conditions of Contract
• Review of BOQ prepared by the Engineer
• Reviewing specifications to ensure they encompass project requirements for materials, quality, safety, engineering works etc
• Along with the Engineer developing and reviewing project plans, timelines, and budgets 
• Review of project design prepared by Engineer to ensure it is correct
• Quality control and safety focus on works under execution
• Periodical audit of quality and safety system established on the project
• Reviewing payments submitted by Consultants, Contractors and other stakeholders
• Establishing and maintaining positive atmosphere on the project to ensure its smooth run, managing possible conflicts between Engineer and Contractor
• Provide comprehensive day-to-day field supervision at the site to ensure all construction is performed to quality standards in compliance with design specifications, drawings, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate multiple tasks, demonstrate strong organization and management skills, effectively communicate and collaborate within a team environment, and manage work crews concurrently.
• Conduct inspections at the completion of each construction phase and sign off on the quality of workmanship.
