Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and imaginative Creative Packaging Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Creative Packaging Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualising and creating innovative packaging designs for boxes and gift sets. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for aesthetics, a deep understanding of design principles, and proficiency in graphic design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D design tools.

Responsibilities:

Conceptualization and Ideation: 

1) Brainstorm and generate creative packaging ideas for boxes and gift sets that align with the brand identity and target audience.

2) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product specifications and requirements.

Design Development:

1)Utilise graphic design software, including Photoshop and Illustrator, to create visually stunning packaging designs.

2) Incorporate cutting-edge design techniques and stay updated on industry trends to ensure innovative and competitive packaging solutions.

3) Develop 3D designs to provide a realistic representation of the final product.

Prototyping and Testing:

1)Create prototypes and mock-ups for packaging designs to evaluate functionality, aesthetics, and user experience.

2) Conduct testing and gather feedback from management to make necessary adjustments and improvements.

Collaboration and Communication:

1)Work closely with marketing teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to align packaging designs with marketing strategies and product positioning.

2) Effectively communicate design concepts and ideas through presentations and visual materials.

Project Management:

1)Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project milestones.

2) Collaborate with production teams to ensure the practicality and feasibility of design concepts.

Qualifications:

1) A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a diploma in related fields.

2) 1-2 years’ experience as a Designer with a portfolio showcasing creative designing and plus points if it showcases creative packaging design solutions.

3) Proficiency in graphic design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D design tools.

4) Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, and typography.

5) Good communication and presentation skills.

6) Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

7) Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality designs.
