Data Insights Analyst

Job Summary:



As a Data Insights Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing inputs for data-driven decision-making at SME Middle East. Your role will include analyzing music consumption patterns, audience behavior, market trends and providing relevant dashboards and reports to build the label’s strategy.

What you'll do:



Assess data quality to gauge suitability for analysis. Conceive templates, dashboards and other visualisation tools for data analysis. Interpret data analytics findings. Perform data cleaning and transformation to ensure suitability for analysis. Provide inputs on current available metrics and data collection to develop new metrics for research projects Synthesising data and analysis into impactful, action-orientated reports Communicate key findings and insights to management and wider team both conversationally and in formal presentation style. Conduct analysis using in-house analytics tools, and be comfortable analysing a range of social and business data Manage datasets, designed data visualization dashboards, and delivere relevant insights through analysis and storytelling. Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis and insight on the projects. Must be comfortable working on their own analytics projects as well as with specialist experts on larger, more complex briefs. Study and provide insights into music consumption patterns like genre/style, artist popularity etc. Identify emerging talent by analyzing social media engagement, streaming numbers, and other metrics and provide relevant inputs to the domestic A&R team. Collaborate with marketing teams to tailor marketing and promotional strategies based on insights on audience preferences, demographics and behaviours. Forecast the potential success of new releases, assisting the label in planning promotional activities and allocating resources effectively. Help the label to schedule releases to maximize visibility and audience engagement Undertake social media and streaming analytics to understand fan engagement, sentiments, and preferences, enabling personalized communication and community building. Design and develop dashboards and reports to visualize key performance metrics. Make data accessible to relevant teams which will enable to understand trends and take informed decisions.

Who you are:



Previous Experience: 4 years in a data analytics or business analytics role in a dynamic consumer driven sector
Education: Data science/statistics or other relevant study

Skills:



Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling and ideally machine learning. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), statistical software, and ideally SQL Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.) Ability to look at data and spot trends Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and translate business needs into analytical solutions. Digital native- understands how platforms work, is an avid and active user and participant. Interests: Music and Pop Culture. Actively follows the local music scene; likes to attend gigs, is a fan of artists, genres etc.
