Our client, in the real estate and facility management industry is seeking a Development Officer - Finance/Investment to join their team. The Development Officer will be responsible for conducting market research and analysis, evaluating feasibility studies, and developing business plans and financial models for proposed real estate projects. This role requires strong analytical and financial skills, as well as experience in real estate investment and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Track the trend in the local and international arena through study of leading and successful projects and market
Research market conditions affecting the company’s proposed projects at local, regional and national level, to determine potential success and feasibility of proposed projects
Report/ provide input on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting demand
Support the development of corporate opportunities and expansion strategies in business and products closely related to current business to create additional shareholder value.
Research and analyze relevant economic and financial data and sophisticated industry dynamics and trends to assist in carrying out appropriate analysis and support development of new strategies.
Carry out primary and secondary market research to be able to identify possible business opportunities that the company can invest in.
Work with team members and relevant departments (i.e. property management) responsible for Strategy Development to ensure that there is a full and complete alignment once the strategy of the business has been approved by Management
Prepare a business plan, Financial Model, MEP’s, develop key business processes and make decisions about product pricing, marketing strategy and publicity plans for new ventures.
Develop market strategy and operational plans for proposed new ventures when necessary.
Evaluate Feasibility Study Consultants. Assist them during the preparation of report, Review the report, analyze and fine tune for submission to senior management
Coordinate and lead the development of high level conceptual design, master plan, site analysis studies and the expected project budget for the proposed real estate projects
Assist in presentation of the preliminary conceptual design to top management for approval
Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, analyzing collected data, forecasting and tracking marketing and sales trends. Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text that will support the concept development and feasibility studies of the proposed project. Assist in inter departmental advisory services.
Develop a pricing report for new and current developments based on primary and secondary market research.
Evaluate company's underperforming assets and develop a yield management report which identifies costs, revenues, areas of improvement and areas of extra revenue generation.
RequirementsQualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of working experience. Preferred in the Real Estate, Facility and Property Management, Investment Corporate, or Financial industries.
Bachelor's degree win Finance, Accounting, or Investment.
Strong with English and Arab languages are must due to the nature of the job.
Experienced, and strong financial and analytical skills.
Self-motivated, personable and team player with experience in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with all MS Office programs, Estate Master a plus
Comfortable creating, modifying, and reviewing financial spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
Business planning and management skills. Commercial and business acumen.
Strong presentation and communication skills, in addition to critical and strategic thinking.
