We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson to join our international team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans based on the designs provided by our engineers. The Draftsperson will use computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce detailed formwork drawings that adhere to industry standards and project specifications.

Job Description

• Detail shop drawings, plans, and schematics for Doka projects using CAD software
• Produce assembly and fabrication of formwork elements for execution and installation
• Close collaboration with our engineers and other team members to complete required drawings within agreed deadlines
• Create material lists of formwork in coordination with the engineering team
• Proper documentation of submittals to clients and jobsites
• General assistance for engineering tasks within the design and site team
• Proper execution of drawing templates and constant improvement/updating of drawing database according to Doka standards
• Preparation of production drawings for special steel parts

• Associate or bachelor's degree in drafting, engineering, or a relevant field or other technical/civil engineering qualification
• Auto CAD proficiency; 3D software (i.e. Revit, Inventor) is an advantage
• At least 3 years of proven experience as draftsman or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of drawing standards, engineering principles and construction methods,
• Solid communication skills in English
• Good math skills
• Willingness to be flexible and make adjustments to meet deadlines
• Minimum supervision and result-oriented
• Team player with attention to detail
• Eager to learn and improve knowledge and skills

Years of Experience: minimum 3 years

Qualifications: Associate or bachelor's degree in drafting, engineering, or a relevant field or other technical/civil engineering qualification
