Job Overview:
The Driver is under the Office Management Team and is mainly responsible for safely transporting the Chairman to his destination on time and ensuring that other tasks from the Chairman & Non - Executive Director are executed properly and accurately. The Driver also ensures that all vehicles are checked, serviced and maintained periodically and as needed.
Responsibilities:
DAILY TASK
1. Clean vehicles.
2. Check the vehicle status such as battery, lights, oil, water, brakes, tyres, gasoline and steering wheel.
3. Check the Chairman's lunch and gym bag, etc.
4. Procuring the grocery list from the Chairman's household help.
5. Inspection of the Chairman's villa, garden, kayak boat, etc.
6. Check the status of pets with the assistance of the Chairman's household help.
7. Other tasks from the Chairman, Non - Executive Director, Chairman's spouse, Office Manager and other requests for drop off and pick up of documents from clients.
WEEKLY TASK
1. Check the maintenance of the Chairman's vehicles parked in the office premises thrice a week such as blowbags and at the same time warm up all the vehicles.
2. Inspection of the Non - Executive Director's apartment and vehicle and request for service or repair if needed.
3. Other duties on weekends for the company or Shareholders (as directed by the Chairman and/or Non - Executive Director).
MONTHLY TASK
1. Checking Salik accounts of the company, Chairman and Non - Executive Director.
2. Checking traffic fines for all vehicles.
3. Purchase of cat and dog's food.
4. Monthly or Quarterly servicing of vehicles.
Personal Skills
1. With over 7 years of UAE driving experience with no history of road accidents
2. Familiar with all traffic laws and regulations
3. With good knowledge of all roads in Dubai
4. Can work without constant supervision
5. Demonstrate a high level of courtesy and professionalism
6. Thorough understanding of motor vehicle engine functionality
7. Ability to communicate, both oral and in writing.
