Electrical Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Draftsman with a strong background in building construction to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating detailed technical drawings and electrical plans necessary for the construction and installation of electrical systems. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of electrical systems and building codes in the UAE.

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
  
• Work closely with electrical engineers and architects to convert designs and technical specifications into comprehensive drafting plans.
  
• Ensure all electrical drawings comply with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
  
• Revise and update existing drawings as required, and maintain up-to-date documentation for all projects.
  
• Collaborate with the construction team to ensure electrical installations are executed accurately according to the drafted plans.
  
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create electrical layouts and plan drawings.
  
• Participate in project meetings to provide insights and updates on drawing progress and timelines.
  
• Manage multiple drafting projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards.
  

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, CAD Drafting, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 4 years UAE experience in building construction, specifically in electrical drafting.
  
• Profound knowledge of electrical systems, components, and applications in construction.
  

• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, for drafting electrical systems.
  
• Strong understanding of UAE building codes, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in creating and reviewing technical drawings.
  
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
  
• Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and project timelines effectively.
  
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with engineering and construction teams.
  
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  

• Must be currently located in the UAE or willing to relocate.
  
• Ability to work extra hours as needed to meet critical project deadlines.
