Electrical Engineer (power And Desalination Plant)

Job Description

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electric or Electronic Engineering, OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Experience:

7 years’ experience in maintenance and/or commissioning of a large power generation and water desalination or process systems environment plant.

Experience in the maintenance and repair of power plant equipment with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a power and desalination plant.

Experience in maintenance and repair of electrical distribution and protection equipment, preferably Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS);

Experience in the maintenance and repair of rotating electrical equipment and protection equipment.

Experience in the maintenance and repair of major rotating equipment.

Experience in the maintenance and repair of motor, hydraulic and air operated control/stop valves.

Operational plant or construction site experience is required.

Electrical and/or controls design experience is preferred.
