To work effectively as part of a team, building, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing company assets and equipment onshore, offshore, and internationally. To use your skills and knowledge to assess and apply effective electrical repairs and upgrades of equipment. Help train colleagues across various disciplines. Undergo relevant training.
Duties:
• Attend daily Service Centre Briefings.
• Check, service, repair and maintain all company equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and maintenance of pumps.
• Power tools repairing and servicing.
• Inspect and assess electrical and associated systems to
determine the requirements for refurbishment, replacement or repair and
identify route cause of failed components.
• Power tools repairing and servicing.
• Repair or replace defective and/or worn parts and
components.
• Generate accurate Engineer Inspection reports of assets
and equipment.
• Log and report information in the maintenance job sheets.
• Create/ Update electrical drawing for the All assets
overhauled or new build.
• Assist in developing/ updating overhaul and maintenance
work instructions for equipment and assets.
Provide technical advice and assistance to all departments:
• Liaise with Engineering Department to obtain information
to assist in the build of new equipment.
• Liaise with other departments to promote suitable
improvements to the process, assets, and equipment.
• Instruct site based operational staff on the correct use
and operation of an asset.
• Source information from third party representatives as
necessary.
HSEQ: ensure maintenance requirements are fully understood
by:
• Follow all company and HSEQ procedures.
• Address any concerns and take appropriate actions in
conjunction with company procedures.
• Attending monthly safety meetings with HSEQ personnel.
Out of Hours Maintenance/Process Support Assistance:
• Provide back-up assistance to other company personnel by
mobile phone as required.
Offshore/Oversees Process Support – supporting offshore
operations:
• Be Prepared to work overtime to support the required work
scope in line with operational demand.
• Traveling offshore to check, service & repair
equipment as required.
• Be prepared to undertake medicals, vaccinations and
training as required for offshore travel.
Experience(s)
• Minimum 10 or more years total working experience in
relevant field
• Proven experience in inspection of machine electrical
systems, Fault-Finding / Testing and Repairs
• Demonstrate working experience with Electrical Schematic
and wiring Diagrams
• Track record of working experience in carrying out routine
maintenance, installations, Repair breakdowns
• Working with process equipment / heavy plant machinery
• Working within the oil & gas, maritime, material
processing or temporary energy industries.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to always work to a high standard
• Ability to develop and follow operational instructions

• Ability to work well with diverse cultures and all levels
• Valid UAE driving license
Qualification(s) & Training
• Diploma Level in Electrical and Electronics or other
related industrial discipline, or at least 4-5 years equivalent technical experience in related field if no
relevant qualification
• Basic Offshore Survival Induction & Emergency Training
(BOSIET) preferred
• Working Experience or understanding ATEX & EX standard
and holding current COMPEX or IECEx Certification or ability to obtain certification within 2
years from assuming the job role
