General Accountant
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Our client is a leading distributor and supplier of sealants, coatings, adhesives and other related industrial products.
 
We are looking for a General Account to join their team.
Key role is to support and help the finance operations in a cross-SBU model, support the business integrate and standardize finance operations to ensure internal controls and compliance requirements are in place.

<b>Responsibilities</b>
·      Support in closing activities for UAE Two Location Fze & Mainland
·      Submit Trial Balance for Free zone entity
·       Review the Trial Balance after submission
·       Prepare and investigate cost analysis.
·       General Ledger reconciliation as per due date
·       Managing Accounts payable
·       Intercompany reconciliation, finding mismatch and taking corrective action to follow the control manual
·       Support in Budget preparation and submission for UAE entities
·       Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
·       Create monthly dashboard and review Business performance
·       Work closely with regional Finance Manager and respective SBU EMEA Finance controllers in order to Support business development in the region
·      Ensure Tax compliance in UAE and KSA (reports and representation timely and accuracy), manage tax cases with the Saudi Tax Authority and providing answers, reports and analysis.
·      Coordinate and assisting the tax team and external tax advisory for VAT and corporate tax, TP aspects.
·      Ensure Statutory compliance requirement is followed and respected


Requirements
<b>Requirements:</b>
·       Masters or Bachelors in Accounting, Preferably with CA/ICWA Intermediate (Equivalent) with Audit & Taxation Experience
·       Proficient in Excel
·       Minimum 3 Year's experience in the UAE or Saudi Arabia
·       Experience in a similar field preferred
·       Candidates currently in the UAE is an advantage
