General Accountant for Trading Company

Apt Resources, a leading recruitment company, is seeking a General Accountant to join the team of one of their reputable clients in the trading industry. As a General Accountant for the trading company, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and reporting for the company's trading activities. This will include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports specific to the trading industry, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and trading standards.

• Manage and record financial transactions related to the company's trading activities, including accounts payable and receivable, expense reports, and journal entries
• Reconcile trading accounts and statements on a regular basis
• Monitor and analyze financial data specific to trading to identify trends and discrepancies
• Prepare financial reports and statements specific to the trading industry, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and trading standards
• Assist with internal and external audits related to trading activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls for trading activities
