Job Description

Our client provides award winning SaaS solutions to enterprise clients across a diverse portfolio of retail, government and entertainment clients across multiple geographies.


Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be a visionary technology leader to spearhead B2B SaaS IoT and cloud solutions service delivery to create a competitive edge to drive opportunities for new and organic business growth.


The role will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s technology strategy and roadmap,; drive innovation in robust network architecture ensuring client SLAs are met.


Role Summary


Technical Strategy & Stack:


  • develop and execute the technology strategy, overseeing infrastructure and development processes. play a key role in driving the development of data commercialization products and services.
  • identify opportunities for innovation, differentiation and scaling through AI, machine learning and data science technology, software engineering, DevOps and agile methodologies;
  • enhance the AI platform to meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and reliability;
  • develop and embed architectural blueprints, standards and roadmaps that optimize the technology development and service delivery strategies;
  • oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure including networks, servers, hardware and software systems, ensuring they provide technological and operational resilience;
  • responsible for ensuring the company has robust data management systems, data governance policies, and data analytics capabilities to derive insights and value from the data assets;
  • security systems design, capacity monitoring and performance monitoring.

Product Development & Enhancement:


  • lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from conceptualization, mass production to deployment ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance;
  • define product enhancement roadmaps and oversee the architecture development of large scale digital platforms and solutions on modern, open source technologies related to features, integration and customer adoption.

Performance Monitoring:


  • establish KPIs and metrics to track the performance and effectiveness of our AI platform;
  • implement monitoring and analytics systems to gain insights and drive continuous improvement;
  • Implement continual improvement to improve business processes through release process;
  • oversee vendor management and measure delivery performance against SLAs.

Organizational Change Management:


  • lead the change management process that evaluates transition and gaps in business needs, structure and knowledge.

Team Leadership:


  • recruit, mentor, and manage high performance software engineering and technical support teams; foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Technical Representation:


  • lead technology webinars, forums and industry events to build strategic partnerships and showcase technology capabilities to drive new business opportunities.

Senior Stakeholder Communication and Management:


  • effectively engage and manage relationships with CXO stakeholders ensuring project alignment.

Mandatory Skills & Experience


  • 10- 15 years’ SaaS hardware and software engineering leadership within an entrepreneurial data analytics environment.
  • Well-versed in data processing, data integration, data warehousing, data governance, machine learning, and other relevant technologies.
  • Proven track record of building high performance technical support and software development teams through culture change initiatives to foster a strong culture of ownership and excellence.
  • High intellect with the ability to assimilate and analyze complex to consider strategic impact and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (sales and marketing) to translate client requirements into innovative technical solutions.
  • Experience of driving innovation through staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • UAE driving license is mandatory.

Education


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering

Candidate Profile


  • Currently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to live and work in Dubai.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and presentation skills as this is a client-facing role.
