ABOUT THE POSITION



Job Title: Human Resources Manager


Manager: Managing Director, Head of Human Capital


Employment: Full Time (in office five days per week)


Location: Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi



The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing all routine activities related to human capital in our Abu Dhabi and London offices. Areas include, but are not limited to, regional compliance and regulatory matters, recruiting, full employee life cycle, performance management, learning and development, benefits, visas, employee relations and HR system administration. This individual acts as a liaison between employees and corporate goals, striving to ensure that our practices, policies, and services are reliable, prompt, and contribute positively to our competitive edge.


As a leader, this Human Resources Manager will be respected as a problem solver, influencer, and advocate as we build or improve our applications, platforms, programs, and practices. This individual will be familiar with regulations, laws, policies, trends, and the strategies to manage them in each of the regions we operate or have employees. As a passionate connector, this individual will utilize their analytical, data-centric, logical, business skills, and compassion to continuously ensure that our employees are engaged, supported, and thriving.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Identifies and implements continuous processes, procedures, program, and system projects or improvements both locally and in support of regional efforts.
  • Responsible for all UAE and UK Benefits (Healthcare, leaves, supplemental insurance, PTO, open enrollment, payments, marketing).
  • Responsible for end-to-end Visa process for new hires or re-locating employees.
  • Readily accessible expert and liaison to our employees ensuring highest level of knowledge, support, service, access, responsiveness, and experience.
  • Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices; frequently reviews policies and practices.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Responsible for onboarding, transitions, and offboarding processes and experience.
  • Owner of Employee Handbook across two regions.
  • Responsible for reporting and analytics (attrition, dashboard, engagement, etc.)
  • Responsible for supporting and configuring systems and applications (HRIS, Recruiting, Development, peripheral applications).
  • Creates localized learning and development programs that create internal development and growth opportunities.
  • Responsible for the usage of competencies, skills, and performance indicators to assess and develop employees.
  • Responsible for Mid-Year and Annual Review Cycle.
  • Responsible for employee engagement monitoring and improvements.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Manages relationships with vendcors, partners, and recruiters.
  • Provides consistent status on issues, and opportunities to improve employee experience and business functions.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • 7-10 years HR experience.
  • BA/BS degree.
  • Employee benefits management expertise required.
  • Regulatory employment law and compliance experience.
  • HRIS/HCM expertise, UKG preferred.
  • Investment management or finance industry preferred.
  • Flexible work schedule with ability to support multiple international time zones and unplanned issues.
  • Five days per week in the Abu Dhabi office and as needed for events.
