INDEPENDENT COMISSIONING AGENT

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
We are seeking an experienced Independent Commissioning Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building commissioning, energy management, and sustainable design practices. As an Independent Commissioning Agent, you will play a key role in ensuring that our projects meet performance standards, energy efficiency goals, and client expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting building commissioning activities, including pre-functional checks, functional performance testing, and systems verification.
• Developing commissioning plans, schedules, and protocols for new construction and renovation projects.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to integrate commissioning requirements into project designs and specifications.
• Performing site inspections, walkthroughs, and quality assurance checks to verify compliance with design intent and industry standards.
• Testing, adjusting, and balancing HVAC systems, lighting controls, electrical systems, and other building components for optimal performance.
• Documenting commissioning activities, findings, and recommendations in comprehensive reports and presentations.
• Providing technical expertise and guidance on energy efficiency measures, sustainability initiatives, and building performance optimization.
• Conducting post-occupancy evaluations, monitoring building performance metrics, and recommending improvements for ongoing operations.
• Participating in project meetings, coordination efforts, and stakeholder communications related to commissioning activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must be Immediately available and based in UAE.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certification in commissioning (e.g., CxA, CCP) is preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in building commissioning, energy management, or related roles, preferably in a design consultancy or engineering firm.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation, energy codes, and sustainability standards (e.g., LEED, Green Globes).
• Experience with commissioning software, tools, and instrumentation for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders and present technical information effectively.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Passion for sustainable design, energy conservation, and building performance optimization.
