Job Description

Our company is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Joinery Production Manager to oversee our joinery manufacturing operations. As the Joinery Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled craftsmen and ensuring the timely and efficient production of high-quality joinery products like doors, cabinets and loose furniture. Your expertise in joinery manufacturing processes and leadership abilities will be key to driving success in this role.


Responsibilities:


  1. Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and project deadlines. Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal utilization of manpower and equipment.


  2. Quality Control: Implement and maintain strict quality control measures throughout the production process. Ensure all joinery products meet or exceed established quality standards.


  3. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of joinery craftsmen. Provide guidance, training, and feedback to enhance their skills and performance.


  4. Workflow Optimization: Continuously improve production processes and workflow efficiency. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance productivity.


  5. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on production performance, efficiency, and other key metrics for management review.


  6. Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure joinery machines and equipment are well-maintained and in excellent working condition.


  7. Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture. Ensure all employees follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies.


  8. Material Management: Coordinate with the procurement team to maintain an adequate supply of raw materials. Minimize waste and optimize material usage.


  9. Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers and designers to understand project requirements and deliver joinery products that meet client specifications.


  10. Cost Management: Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising product quality.


  11. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize production efficiency.



RequirementsRequirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Relevant certifications are preferred.


  • Proven experience as a Production Manager in the joinery or woodworking industry.


  • In-depth knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.


  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.


  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.


  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.


  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


  • Proficiency in using production management software and tools is an advantage.
