Job Description
We are looking for a Middle-office Engineer with experience in banking middle or back office. Experience with markets, knowledge of instrument specifications intricacies, and proficiency in any programming language are important to us. Responsibilities:
Maintaining a registry of trading instruments: validation, updating.
Reconciling deals and positions with broker/exchange reports.
Working with a variety of trading platforms.
Analyzing the mechanics of exchanges/trading venues.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in banking middle or back office (position and deal reconciliations, reporting).
Hands-on experience with instrument specifications (understands concepts such as price step, quantity step, lot size, position value, margin requirements).
Markets: MOEX, CME, Eurex, LME, LSE (any two).
Experience with both spot and derivatives markets.
Proficiency in any programming language for scripting purposes.
Linux user with proficiency in basic console commands.
Nice to have:
Experience in settlement operations.
