Job Description
Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading company in the events industry who are looking to find a highly skilled Odoo Technical Support Specialist to assist in the successful implementation of Odoo ERP system. This is a contract role where the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in training staff, facilitating system migration, and ensuring the effective utilization of Odoo within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand current business processes and identify areas for improvement through Odoo implementation.
- Configure Odoo modules to meet the specific needs of our company, potentially including customization.
- Develop a comprehensive data migration plan and ensure accurate and secure transfer of existing data to the new system.
- Design and deliver training programs for staff at all levels, ensuring they are comfortable and proficient in using Odoo.
- Provide ongoing technical support to users, troubleshoot any issues, and identify opportunities for further optimization.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Odoo functionalities and best practices.
- Document the entire implementation process for future reference and training purposes.
Requirements- Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with Odoo development tools (e.g., ORM, API, XMLRPC).
- Proven experience in Odoo implementation in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of Odoo architecture, modules, and features and their role in business process optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data migration techniques.
- Effective communication, training, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to deadlines and a high level of accuracy.
- Odoo certification (e.g., Odoo Developer, Odoo Functional Consultant) is a plus.
