Piping Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Piping Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and at least 8 years of experience in the oil & gas construction industry. As a Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the installation of piping systems for our construction projects. Your expertise will ensure the efficiency, safety, and compliance of our piping systems, contributing significantly to our operational success.

• Design and analyze piping systems, equipment layouts, and pipe stress analysis to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  
• Develop detailed piping specifications, including selection of materials and equipment for use in the design and construction phases.
  
• Coordinate with project management and multidisciplinary teams to integrate piping systems into overall project designs.
  
• Conduct field surveys and studies to prepare engineering drawings and documents for piping systems.
  
• Manage and oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  
• Perform risk assessments and provide solutions to mitigate potential issues related to piping design and installation.
  
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and safety standards in all piping engineering activities.
  
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in piping engineering to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.
  

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or a closely related field.
  
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in piping engineering within the oil & gas construction industry.
  
• Profound knowledge of piping design principles, fluid mechanics, and pipe stress analysis.
  
• Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations pertinent to piping engineering (e.g., ASME, API).
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members effectively and stakeholders.
  
• Proficiency in CAD software and piping engineering tools such as AutoCAD, CAESAR II, or similar.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  
• Leadership skills with the capacity to supervise and guide junior engineers and technical staff.
  

• P.E. license or other professional engineering certifications is preferred.
  
• Experience with 3D modeling software is a plus.
  
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
