Work location:
Role will be based in Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE however will be working for KSA market
Role Summary:
Purchase & procurement of capex items and service for the execution of
Green Field Project and Regular Capex Purchase of ongoing plants.
Responsibilities:
Purchase of
Capital Goods & Execution of Green Field project
Study the
requirement from users team and selection of suitable suppliers
Releasing
purchase order/contract & follow-up & expediting
Monitor
contract performance
Update and
checks on safety, quality & guarantee documentation
Compliance to
health and safety regulations
Prepare and
issue purchase orders and procure materials in accordance with the company
policy and negotiated terms and conditions
Take
appropriate corrective and preventive actions for the goods / services rejected
in-house
Undertakes
continuous improvement actions to strengthen systems and processes
Implement
purchase policy & procedures
Determine,
track and continuously improve on the key KPIs
Education, background, level of
experience:
BE/ME in
Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
Minimum 5
years relevant working experience in Capex Purchase in Manufacturing/ Cement/
Steel/Power/ Manufacturing Industries
KSA / Saudi
Arabia market experience
Preference
given to candidate having experience of handling CAPEX Project independently
Sound
knowledge of safety
Good working
experience in ERP, SAP-MM Module/ MS-Project
Hands-on
experience in Green Field Project execution
Vendor
development, Import substitutions of Machinery/Spares
