Job Description

Our client is a well-known Civil Engineering company. They are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join them.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  •  Review tender documents and determine the scope of work.
  • Attend pre-tender and post–tender meetings with clients to obtain all details and relevant information for cost preparation and tender submission.
  • Study specifications, and drawings and raise the clarifications.
  • Take off Quantities from the Drawings for the preparation of BOQ, in comparison to the client BOQ.
  • Prepare the RFQ & issue RFQs both in tender stage and on-going projects.
  • Identify sub-contractor activities and float inquiries based on the approved vendor/sub-contractor list (if required).


Skills

Preference:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex schedules and budgets.
  • Familiarity with UAE construction laws, regulations, and permitting processes.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or similar role, specifically within the hotel construction sector in the UAE.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
