Job Description

A demonstrable understanding of the broader picture of modern media products, including print, digital, content solutions, social media and live events, as well as the opportunities each one represents, both to advertisers and to the audience. Sell advertising, content solutions and event sponsorships across your brands to both existing and prospective clients (direct clients and agencies). Track performance on a weekly basis to ensure that set targets are regularly Identify sales opportunities and effectively present key features and benefits of our products to secure new business across print, display, native, database and events. Create and sell compelling advertising and sponsorship deals to generate revenue. Advise on content strategies that will help increase sales. Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external clients. Liaise regularly with the assigned roster of advertising agencies and clients to develop sales and ensure regular and prompt client service. Develop and sell brand-related events and/or awards that will enhance the brand proposition. Attend suitable events to obtain leads and increase visibility in the market. Comfortable with numbers and commercially astute. Educated to degree level with 5+ years of sales experience including 2-3 years of local and industry experience, ideally with a publisher/media group. Good knowledge of the media industry in the UAE and GCC. Relationship-management skills to liaise effectively with internal customers as well as external clients. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Resilience and commitment.* Ability to work in a team.
