Job Description:

  • Supervise and oversee daily plant operations and maintenance during shifts to ensure safe, timely, and efficient performance, meeting operational targets within strict environmental and operational limits.
  • Ensure that chemical handling in the plant is done safely and within proper procedures to avoid chemical spillage, which could result in environmental damage, and apply Emergency Response Procedures when required.
  • Ensure enough manpower in every shift, and oversee compliance with safe working procedures, supervising chemists/technicians in all activities related to equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Controls the plant process and electrical distribution through the plant Distributive Control System (DCS) and other process control devices.

Monitors the operation and performance of the facility while on shift and finds solutions to reduce breakdown time and minimize the risk during any failure

About the Client:

One of the reputable chemical manufacturers in the GCC region


  • Male, 25 to 45 y/o
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience in a Chlor Alkali/ Caustic Soda/Chlorine Plant and ability to handle shift operations.
  • Complete knowledge and able to handle Brine Section, Electrolyzer section, HCL, Flaker, Utility, Hypo and added advantage for CaCl2 plant.
