Job description

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC / Abu Dhabi for a:

Solar Project Coordinator (M/F)

Job Purpose:

This position is a unique opportunity to work in growing renewable energy sector and coordinate our Solar Project in Dubai.

Your main duties will be to:-

Responsible for project Operation activities:

1. Prepare and attend regular meetings with client for project progress and monitoring of performance.
2. Prepare monthly internal meetings, record minutes and monitor actions.
3. Prepare quarterly, semi-annual and annual client meetings, record minutes and monitor actions.
4. Prepare Weekly and Monthly Operations Report in collaboration with the site team.
5. Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
6. Prepare all sites related documentation in collaboration with site team, and support functions, and keep procedures up to date.
7. Coordinate project schedules and ensure all tasks are assigned and completed on time.
8. Monitor project expenses and track against budget allocations.
9. Provide regular updates on project financials and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Responsible for Resource Management and Quality Assurance:

1. Coordinate the purchase and allocation of equipment and materials, for smooth operations.
2. Issuing PO on ERP system for procurement (materials, vehicles, equipment, etc.).
3. Ensure that the project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
4. Ensure personnel mobilization and demobilization process are properly carried out.
5. Organize and coordinate with support functions the onboarding of new employees, including HSE Induction, trainings, etc.
6. Ensure company and client HSSEQ compliance.
7. Monitoring the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for each project site.
8. Coordinate with Recruitment Team Leader to determine staffing needs.

Profile

Ideally you will have graduated in Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in business administration, project management, or related field with 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in the Solar industry; ideally with the region.

Having good understanding of services linked to renewable energy.

You are fluent in English, and fluency in French and Arabic would be an advantage.

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
