OverviewThe opportunityAs we continue to expand our operations globally, we are seeking a talented and motivated ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Governance, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our ESG initiatives and ensuring alignment with our corporate values and objectives.The CompanyPresight, an ADX-listed public company limited by shares whose majority shareholder is Abu Dhabi company G42, is the region’s leading big data analytics company powered by Artificial Intelligence (“AI”). With its world-class computer vision, AI, and omni-analytics platform as its engine, Presight leverages all-source data to support insight-driven decision making that shapes policy and creates safer, healthier, happier, and more sustainable societies.ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement Presight's ESG strategy in alignment with international standards and best practices.Conduct comprehensive ESG assessments to identify key risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate ESG considerations into business operations and decision-making processes.Lead the development and implementation of ESG policies, procedures, and reporting frameworks.Monitor and track ESG performance indicators, benchmarks, and targets to measure progress and impact.Engage with external stakeholders, including investors, regulators, NGOs, and industry peers, to enhance transparency and accountability.Conduct stakeholder consultations and engagement activities to gather feedback and insights on ESG priorities and concerns.Support the preparation and review of ESG-related disclosures, reports, and communications for internal and external audiences.Stay abreast of emerging ESG trends, regulations, and best practices to inform continuous improvement initiatives.Provide training and guidance to internal teams on ESG principles, practices, and reporting requirements.Assist in maintaining effective governance within the ESG function.Contribute to management reporting efforts.Support technology requirements for ESG operations.Key Result Areas Identify and manage social responsibility risks, opportunities and evolving issues, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are developed and effectively implemented.Participate in early planning stages for future projects and operations, ensuring knowledge transfer and positive early stakeholder engagement.Embed ESG standards and design improvements aligned with the very dynamic and changing ESG landscape.Identify and implement sustainability projects and support sites to manage their community projects, resolve community issues, incidents and non-compliances with learnings shared and knowledge applied.Build capability through leadership of the social responsibility and ESG community of practice. Collaboration and coaching plays a key role in supporting our ethos that sustainability is integral to everything we do (optional).QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, Business, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG consulting, sustainability, corporate social responsibility or related fields. Carbon markets experience will be looked upon favourably.Strong understanding of ESG issues, trends and principles, regulatory requirements, frameworks, and reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).Proficiency in Arabic and English languages (strong verbal and written communication skills).Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making.Commitment to ethical conduct, integrity, and corporate responsibility.What we look for:If you are a performance-driven, inquisitive mind with the agility to adapt to ambiguity, you will fit right in.
