Job Title: Supervisor (Fabrication - Oil and Gas Field)

Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a proficient and experienced Supervisor with a background in fabrication within the Oil and Gas industry. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation of 6 to 8 years of UAE-based experience in fabrication operations. As a Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of fabrication processes to ensure efficiency and quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage fabrication activities within the Oil and Gas field, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
2. Supervise a team of fabricators, providing guidance and support to ensure timely completion of projects.
3. Monitor and assess fabrication processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes to enhance productivity.
4. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan and execute fabrication projects according to client specifications and project timelines.
5. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure proper functionality and maintenance.
6. Maintain accurate records of inventory, materials usage, and project progress to facilitate reporting and decision-making.
7. Foster a positive work environment conducive to teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
8. Demonstrate strong leadership skills by effectively delegating tasks, providing constructive feedback, and resolving conflicts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication Technology) is required.
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in fabrication operations within the Oil and Gas industry, preferably in the UAE.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office suite and relevant fabrication software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated skills in performance management, staffing, decision-making, and strategic planning.
• Proven track record of effectively coordinating fabrication activities and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
