Unmanned Vehicle Traffic Management (UTM) Officer

Role Purpose

Provide the needed contribution and support to the Unmanned Vehicle Traffic managements system (UTM) for the services related to UAV operation and application performance. Provide the needed support to implement the related guidelines, policies, and regulation to the Dubai Skydome initiatives. Build a strong operation and technical knowledge and experience in all UAV airworthiness requirements and safety elements and to other related fields to the business.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

1.Provide the needed support in Implementing the UTM operation plan as per the manuals, guideline, and procedures.

2.Facilitate all related UTM services through DCAA platform.

3.Conduct UTM activities performance analysis, interpret data and make informed judgment to provide a report.

4.Maintain & develop services and systems in coordination with relevant department within DCAA and ability to communicate effectively.

5.Coordinating with stakeholders and provide the needed support for the benefit of the organization and ability to communicate effectively.

6.Carry out regular assessment visits and monitoring of all experiment’s activities related to UAV certification process.

7.Build a strong knowledge in UTM and UAV airworthiness requirements.

8.Contribute with the team to research and develop the related UTM and UAV activities.

9.    Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned from time to time by the line manager.

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Certifications:

Relevant certification is preferred.

Professional Experience:

• Experience and knowledge in at least one or more of the following areas:

-UAS ATM integration

-UAS R&D

-U-Space/UTM

-UAS integration challenges.

• Knowledge in Civil Aviation regulations.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (reading and writing).
