OverviewLooking for a strategic, accomplished, and experienced Vice President - Asset Management, to lead and oversee the performance management of all hospitals and labs within the M42 portfolio. It combines G42 Healthcare’sunique medical and data-centric technologies with Mubadala Health’s world-class patient services and state-of-the-art facilities to provide the highest level of personalized, precise, and preventive care to people.Operating at the forefront of medical advancement, M42 is set to transform the way healthcare is delivered, skilfully bridging the gap between the latest health tech advancements and the clinical outcomes patients receive.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Asset Planning:Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans for the asset management of M42 hospitals and labs, aligning with the organization's mission and objectives.Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate asset management strategies into the overall business strategy.Performance Optimization:Oversee the financial and operational performance of all hospitals and labs within the M42 portfolio.Implement strategies to optimize revenue generation, cost efficiency, and overall hospital and lab performance.Direct the evaluation and optimization of financial and operational performance for each asset, setting clear KPIs and ensuring they are understood and acted upon at every level.Conduct regular performance reviews with hospital and lab managers, providing support and resources to meet or exceed established KPIs.Provide feedback to executive leadership on the risks, mitigation and support required for the assets to perform and achieve their objectives.Risk Management:Assess and manage risks associated with hospital and lab operations, implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes impacting hospital and lab asset risk.Financial Analysis and Valuation:Conduct rigorous financial analysis and modelling to evaluate hospital and lab performance.Determine valuations of hospitals and labs using industry-standard and global best practices.Stakeholder Engagement:Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital and lab leadership, investors, and internal teams.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated asset management efforts.Compliance and Regulatory OversightEnsure hospital and lab operations comply with relevant regulations and are aligned to industry standards.Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes affecting hospital and lab asset management.Reporting and CommunicationPrepare and present regular reports on hospital and lab performance to executive leadership and stakeholders.Communicate key insights, trends, and recommendations based on analysis.Optimization Strategies:Develop and execute strategies to optimize the performance and value of hospital and lab assets.Identify opportunities for asset enhancement, divestment, and/or acquisition.Technology Integration:Utilize technology and data analytics tools to enhance hospital and lab asset management processes.Implement new age digital solutions for efficient tracking, reporting, and analysis.Skills and attributes for successExceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detailBudget managementAbility to meet operational and financial targetsIn-depth knowledge of hospital and healthcare operations & processesQualificationsTo qualify, you must have:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field with an MBA as a plus.At least 10 years of experience within a healthcare setting, preferably in a senior-level asset management role specifically focused on hospital and lab performance.Strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulations, and accreditation standards, including healthcare technologies.Ideally, you’ll also need:Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve organizational objectives.In-depth knowledge of healthcare information systems and technology.Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.What we look for:If you are a performance-driven, inquisitive mind with the agility to adapt to ambiguity, you will fit right in.
