Warehouse Supervisor- Contract Logistics

Overview of the role

We are currently looking to recruit a highly experienced Warehouse Supervisor with for Al-Futtaim Logistics. In this role, you are expected to effectively supervise warehouse activity, ensuring all deadlines and standards are achieved in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

What you will do

• You will supervise the day-to-day operations in terms of receiving, checking, storing, picking, stock control activities, quality, health & safety, and to ensure that these functions are carried out in a timely, reliable and cost-effective manner
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipment activities
• Monitor and direct flow and/or movement of parts to ensure dock rotation and availability
• Overseeing the proper processing of daily orders, spreading workload among the warehouse personnel and directing work groups including inbound loads
• Ensure thorough training/cross-training of all warehouse personnel
• Preparing and monitoring the methods used for unloading and loading, including proper safety handling procedures
• Directing, auditing and confirming Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) methods based on Warehouse function
• Ensuring that the warehouse and outside areas are kept clean and neat, depicting a professional image at all times
• This includes assigning and delegating clean up zones as needed
• Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe work environmen
