As a Data Architect, a typical day involves defining the data requirements and designing the overall data structure for applications. This role includes modeling how data is stored and integrated within the system to ensure seamless access and management. The position requires thoughtful planning of data frameworks to support application functionality and scalability, collaborating with various teams to align data architecture with project goals and business needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data architecture aligns with organizational objectives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve data models to enhance performance and maintainability.
- Document data architecture designs and standards to support knowledge sharing and future development.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in understanding data architecture principles.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Collibra Data Governance.
- Experience in designing and implementing data models that support complex application requirements.
- Strong knowledge of data storage solutions and integration techniques.
- Ability to analyze and optimize data flows to improve system efficiency.
- Familiarity with data quality and governance principles to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Skilled in collaborating with development and operations teams to align data architecture with technical and business needs.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Collibra Data Governance.
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
