General Summary:

This role focuses on system level diagnostics quality, flow evolution, and methodology improvements. You will work hands-on on complex diagnostic problems and help evolve diagnostics flows and robustness as automation and product scale increase. This role complements execution and automation by strengthening correctness, confidence, and long-term scalability of diagnostics.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

·Improve and evolve diagnostics flows beyond baseline execution.

·Work hands-on on technically complex or ambiguous diagnostic problems.

·Identify gaps, blind spots, or incorrect assumptions in diagnostics application.

·Drive methodology improvements and ensure diagnostic intent is correctly reflected in automation.

·Contribute to diagnostics methodology improvements across products and nodes.

Level of Responsibility

· Works independently on complex technical problems with minimal supervision.

·Provides technical depth and guidance across the diagnostics team.

·Influences system level diagnostics quality and robustness.

·Requires strong technical communication and analytical skills.

Required Competencies

·Strong fundamentals in scan, memory, or system level diagnostics.

·Ability to connect hands-on analysis with method and flow improvements.

·Structured problem solving and high attention to detail.

·Ability to collaborate across execution, automation, and leadership roles.

·Linux and diagnostics tooling familiarity.

·Strong analytical and scripting capabilities.

·Comfortable working with large datasets and complex diagnostics flows.

Additional Competencies

·Exposure to advanced diagnostics techniques or methodology development.

·Experience validating diagnostics quality at scale.

·Interest in evolving diagnostics in response to new technologies and architectures.
