Job Description:We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions that enhance collaboration, document management, and business processes. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes, translating them into effective SharePoint solutions.
Design, develop, test, and deploy SharePoint applications, sites, and features using best practices and coding standards.
Customize and extend SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premises environments using SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Power Platform, and custom development.
Develop and maintain workflows, forms, lists, libraries, web parts, and other SharePoint components to improve productivity and user experiences.
Integrate SharePoint with other systems and third-party applications as needed to ensure seamless data flow and information sharing.
Implement security measures and permissions to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational policies.
Troubleshoot and debug SharePoint-related issues, providing effective solutions to ensure smooth system operation.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint updates, features, and trends to propose enhancements and optimizations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, business analysts, and IT administrators, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Document technical specifications, solution designs, and development processes for reference and knowledge sharing.
Provide training and support to end-users, addressing questions and issues related to SharePoint functionality.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.
Contribute to the improvement of development processes, methodologies, and tools.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in SharePoint development and customization.
Proficiency in SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint On-Premises development, including experience with SharePoint Designer and Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate).
Strong understanding of SharePoint features, architecture, and best practices.
Experience in client-side scripting (JavaScript, jQuery) and integration with REST APIs.
Knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development is advantageous.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite and collaboration tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of SharePoint migrations and upgrades is a plus.
