Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Strategic Marketing Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Group Marketing Director. The primary focus of this role is to facilitate the acceleration of technology deployment to the market. The successful candidate will employ strategic commercial and marketing approaches to streamline this process, ensuring our innovative technologies reach the market efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:


Collaborative Strategy Development: Work closely with the R&D center and the business units cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic marketing plans aimed at expediting the commercialization of new technologies. Customer Insights and Feedback: Gather customer insights and feedback through various channels, in collaboration with cross-functional teams to inform product development and marketing strategies. Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify key opportunities and trends relevant to the technologies being developed in our R&D center. Utilize insights to guide strategic decision-making. Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular competitive analysis to understand the competitive landscape and identify areas for differentiation. Develop strategies to position our technologies effectively against competitors across all business units. Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies tailored to each technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams from the different Marmon Water autonomous business units. This encompasses market positioning, pricing strategies, distribution channels, and promotional activities.


Qualifications/ Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field (any stream of engineering), with an MBA in strategic marketing is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in strategic marketing role, preferably in water treatment B2B industries.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in global multicultural environments is a plus.
  • Based in India (Bangalore – preferred or Chennai) with frequent travels to the US.
