Oversee day-to-day
accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general
ledger maintenance, and payroll processing.
Prepare and analyze
financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management review.
Develop and implement
accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company
assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and manage
annual financial audits and tax filings.
Monitor cash flow,
banking relationships, and treasury activities to optimize liquidity and
maximize returns.
Lead the budgeting and
forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate
and achievable financial plans.
Conduct regular
financial analysis to evaluate performance against budget and provide insights
to management.
Ensure accurate and
timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with local accounting
standards and regulations.
Supervise and mentor
accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of
experience in accounting, with a focus on construction / engineering industry accounting.
Fluency in Arabic and
English languages, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of Kuwaiti
accounting standards and regulations is preferred.
Proficiency in
accounting software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical,
